I'd imagine that neither of you were closely watching the DNC, but you'll no doubt be tickled pink to know that both "Rockin in the Free World" and "Born in the USA" were played seemingly without irony.

I think it was Napoleon who once said"never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake." Seems apropos to the whole kursk situation.

Hi Danny and Derek, you describe Netanyahu’s obstructionism as the main obstacle to a ceasefire agreement. Not sure if you have covered this in a previous episode (or on Foreign Exchanges) but are there any changes to Hamas’s expectations for a ceasefire under Sinwar (as compared to under Haniyeh)? Same question for what de facto positions Hezbollah might take in Lebanon-Israeli relations with Pezeshkian as president in Iran rather than Raisi. Would also be great if you can cover one day the priorities and responsibilities of UNIFIL and whether those have changed due to UN political climate for Israel. Thanks for all your hard work and detailed analysis as always.

Also re: Philadelphi Corridor, my understanding is an Israeli construction firm has already been contracted for deep concrete foundation wall construction along the Gaza-Egypt border. Philadelphi is 13km, it should be possible to estimate from average project schedules the minimum time for Israeli intentions for military occupation of the border. If I find any published information about it I will add in reply.
